MATCH PREVIEW

As Easter draws to an end, Fulham welcome Leeds to Craven Cottage. It’s been a hectic few days for both teams, as this is their second game in just four days. Both teams won their last matches, and head into the game with positive momentum.
This is especially the case for Fulham who, unlike Leeds, still harbour realistic hopes of promotion. The west London club is now unbeaten in 17 Championship games (W13, D4), and enter this round in third place, but seven points behind Cardiff in second spot.
Getting automatic promotion will be difficult for Fulham, but no team has taken as many points from their last 20 matches as Fulham (46). The Cottagers (FUL) have also won six of their last seven home matches by a margin of two goals or more.
Leeds, on the other hand, are languishing in the middle of the table. A good run of form might see them push for a playoff spot, but the Whites’ current form bodes poorly in that regard, as they’ve lost five of their last ten matches.
The last five Championship games between these teams have also ended in draws with less than 2.5 goals in each.
Players to watch: Teenage phenomenon Ryan Sessegnon is Fulham’s top scorer this season with 14 goals, but he is goalless in four ahead of kickoff.
Another one looking to break his drought is Leeds’ top scorer (ten goals) Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who has failed to find the net in six games running.
Stat attack: Fulham have won nine of their last 11 home games in the Championship (D2), and scored 26 times in those matches (2.36 on average per match).
Both teams are among the most potent in the league and average 2.8 goals (Fulham) and 2.7 (Leeds) per match, respectively. However, since 2001, just two of 13 head to head matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
